Portuguese PM hosts special 'Gujarati lunch' for PM Modi

Lisbon (Portugal), June 24 (ANI): As a special gesture, Portuguese Prime Minister Antonio Costa hosted a special Gujarati lunch for the visiting Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday. PM Modi was received by his Portuguese counterpart with a warm hug at the Necessidades Palace in Lisbon. The Gujarati menu included: Aakhu shakh, saag kofta, rajma aur makai, tarkha dal, kesar rice, paratha, roti, papad, mango shrikhand, Gulab jamun, egg less apple strudel, Vanilla ice cream and Sobremesa Indiana variada. Received by Foreign Minister Augusto Santos Silva at the Lisbon airport, PM Modi is currently on the first leg of his three nation tour.
