How is the experience of tasting cuisines from all over the world?

I'm having a lot of fun. I was never a great chef. I don't see myself like Gordon Ramsay or Thomas Keller. I'm very aware that I'm lucky. If people tell me something is good in their country, I'm going to try it. If I show up in Vietnam and they say, "Well, you have to try the cobra heart," I'll try it. I don't take it that seriously.

I like to eat whatever people are enthusiastic about in a particular place. I've had bad experiences but they are worth enduring for all the great ones. I don't even know what "strange" means anymore when it comes to food. To the insect-loving Thais, a Big Mac probably looks pretty strange. I think the majority of people in the world would find American fast food pretty damn strange
