The Aditya Birla Group's cement production in June rose by 2.59 per cent at 31.55 lakh tonne, while its dispatches rose 0.52 per cent at 31.56 lakh tonne over the year-ago period.
For the April-June period, the group's production was jumped 5.06 per cent at 99.72 lakh tonne, as against 94.91 lakh tonne during the year-go period, a press release issued here stated.
Dispatches rose by 4.12 per cent to 98.89 lakh tonne in April-June 2010, as against 94.98 lakh tonne in the corresponding period last year.
