Telecom software product firm Subex has announced that its revenue assurance and fraud management platforms have been chosen by telecom services provider Aircel, as a part of the company's nine year IT outsourcing contract with Wipro Infotech, the India and Middle East IT business of Wipro.
As a part of the deal, Subex platforms will be used to manage revenue assurance and fraud for Aircel across 23 circles in India.
With a subscriber base of over 10 mn, Aircel operates in nine circles, and has recently won a pan-India licence to operate in 23 new circles.
"We have partnered with Wipro and Subex for our past requirements, and they were the natural choice for us to manage the entire infrastructure, as we look to expand our footprint in India," Ravinder Jain, CIT, Aircel in a statement.
