Britannia Industries today said Ajai Purri has been appointed as an independent director on its board.     

Ajai Purri has been appointed as an independent director on the board of the company, in the casual vacancy arising due to resignation of Philippe Loic-Jacob, Britannia Industries said in a filing to the BSE.
