Alstom Q1 net up 4.5% at Rs 18.3 crore

Total Income of the company has also increased 50.3 per cent from Rs 250 crore for the quarter ended June 2007 to Rs 375.8 crore for the quarter eneded June 2008.

Alstom is a major supplier of power plant equipments in India.

Of the total power capacity addition target of 11,061 Mw to be added in the current year (2008-2009), Alstom is supplying equipments of about 464 mw of power.
