Ashok Leyland reports sales growth of 30% in January

Sells 13,886 units in the month against 10,643 units

Ashok Leyland has posted a 30% growth in its sales during January 2016. The company’s sales rose to 13,886 units against 10,643 units. 

Its M&HCV (medium and heavy commercial) sales rose by 40% to 11,208 units from 8,009 units, while LCV (light commercial vehicles) sales were up by two% to 2,678 units in January 2016 from 2,634 units, in January 2015.

Meanwhile, total sales from April 2014 to January 2015 rose by 36% to 1,10,349 units from 81,386 units.
