Atlas Cycles (Haryana) has posted a 22.78 per cent increase in net profit of Rs 97 lakh for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2009, compared with Rs 79 lakh recorded during the same period a year ago.
The company’s net sales rose to Rs 179.48 crore during the reporting quarter, as against Rs 172.62 crore recorded during the comparable period of previous financial year, the company informed BSE today.
The bicycle manufacturer’s net profit for the 12-month period ended March 31, fell to Rs 16.5 crore from Rs 20 crore recorded a year ago.
The company's shares were 9% at Rs 112 on BSE, at the close of trading hours on Wednesday, April 29.
