Bajaj Finserv ties up with Flipkart to offer no cost EMI option

Bajaj Finserv, through its lending arm, Bajaj Finance Ltd., has partnered with Flipkart to offer No Cost EMI option enabling convenient payments through its EMI Card.

Bajaj Finserv EMI cardholder buying products on Flipkart will have an option to shop at No Cost EMI's over 4 lakh products from 50 categories. The fourth edition of Flipkart's 'Big Billion Days' sale will be live from September 20th to 24th.

Bajaj Finserv has further announced a reward for consumers paying through EMI Card during Big Billion Days Sale. Top spenders every hour from five categories - Small appliances, Big appliances, Mobile Phones and Fashion will get five percent cash-back capped at Rs.1000. Top spender of the day can win an Apple Ipad Mini. And top spender for a 10-day period will stand a chance to win an international trip.

A customer opting for No Cost EMI can shop through Bajaj Finserv store on Flipkart. The store will include product categories like refrigerators, mobiles, TVs, washing machines etc. The store also has newly added categories like fashion for men and women, shoes, watches, Toys, Kidswear, beauty and grooming products, fragrances and laptops.

The existing EMI Card customer can transact on Flipkart without any processing fee or any down payment at No Cost EMI. Currently, there are over 9.8 million Bajaj Finserv EMI Cardholders that can shop on Flipkart through this option.

"Our aim is to enable consumers with convenient payment option. The No Cost EMI option will enable buyer to purchase expensive products online without any additional cost. Easy payment options during the Big Billion Days sale by Flipkart will offer a great proposition to consumers," said business head - EMI Cards, Bajaj Finance Ltd., Sanjeev Moghe.

The Bajaj Finserv EMI Card works like a pre-approved loan. The EMI Card comes with no hidden charges, and most importantly, payment is through No Cost EMIs - which means no more exorbitant interest.

Bajaj Finserv customers can also choose the tenure most suitable to them for repaying the amount. Additionally, customers can choose to foreclose their loan anytime without any extra charges. EMI card enables consumers to buy more products and with a convenience of paying through EMIs while shopping online.
