Bharat Forge opens Rs 720 cr QIP issue

Auto components maker Bharat Forge today said it has launched its $150 million (about Rs 720 crore) private placement issue on April 21.

At its meeting held yesterday, the company opened its $150 million qualified institutional placement issue, Bharat Forge said in a filing to the National Stock Exchange (NSE).

The company, however, did not disclose the purpose of the funds being raised.

Shares of Bharat Forge were trading at Rs 276.90 on the NSE, up 0.29 per cent from previous close.
