Cadila Q2 net up 28.7% to Rs 51 cr

Ahmedabad-based Zydus Cadila Healthcare's net profit for the second quarter surged 28.7 per cent to Rs 51 crore from Rs 39 crore reported in the same period last year. Net sales was up 14.4 per cent to Rs 349.2 crore (Rs 305.2 crore).

The revenue growth for the quarter is driven by a 30.8 per cent growth in international sales. The company recently forayed into the French generics market with the launch of 43 generic products by its French arm, Zydus France SAS.
