Carnival Cinemas partners with Zicom to provide electronic security to moviegoers

Full electronic security cover at all 324 Carnival screens in 89 cities; mobile personal safety app for night time cinegoers

Pan-India multiplex chain Carnival Cinemas announced a strategic tie-up with a Mumbai-based electronic security provider Zicom Electronic Security Systems Ltd (‘Zicom’).

Under the agreement Carnival Cinemas will now be equipped with complete electronic security cover to at all its 324 screens spread across 118 locations in 89 cities. The electronic security cover will be provided by Zicom and will consist of complete surveillance systems like installation of CCTVs and upgradation of existing systems.

Additionally, cinegoers visiting Carnival Cinemas’ theatres at the night shows will also get a customized mobile personal safety application called ‘Ziman’ on each movie ticket bought. Through this mobile app ‘Ziman’, Carnival Cinemas will be able to provide complete safety and security to all the visitors right from the point of entry till they do not reach home safely.
