Cni Research, engaged in research covering economy and capital market, today said it has discontinued its alliance with internet services provider Sify after it failed to focus and expand its retail network.
In order to expand and strengthen its retail distribution network, the arrangement with Nasdaq listed Sify has been discontinued, Cni Research said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The company is in the process of establishing its own distribution network and franchisee model, it added.
Sify has its portal www.Walletwatch.Com through which cni content products were distributed.
The research firm has already in place arrangement with foreign distribution network such as Reuters, Dow Jones and Standard and Poor for its research products, the filing said.
