Coke Gets 6 More Months For Selloff
The government has extended the deadline for Coca-Cola India to complete divestment through the proposed private placement within six months.
As per the initial agreement with the government, Coca-Cola was to complete the disinvestment by July 17, 2002. The deadline was first extended by a month to August 17. Coca-Cola has now been given till February 28, 2003, to complete the divestment.
