Confident group forays into Kochi

| C J Roy, chairman and managing director of Confident, told the media that the group would construct Confident Corona, a limited edition villa and premium apartment residential enclave at Kakkanad, and a premium villa project "� Confident Peninsula "� at Maradu, near Kochi. |
| Confident Corona would comprise 19 villas, and 120 apartments. While the villas would cost Rs 50 lakh each, the apartments would be priced at Rs 25 lakh each. |
| At Maradu, the company would build 30 villas, each priced at Rs 1 crore. This apart, the company plans to construct 150 apartments in a 6-acre enclave at Maradu. Roy said the projects would be completed within a year and the construction cost would be around Rs 60 crore. |
| The villas and apartments will be designed by SAA of Singapore, Thomson Associates, Kochi, and the in-house design wing of Design group. |
| He added that the group had also planned to launch villas, apartments, commercial complexes lifestyle hotels, five star hotels and international convention centres in Bangalore, Kochi and other major metros across the country. |
| It also planned to start a resort at Wynad, the famous tourist centre of God's Own Country. Other immediate plans of the group were a Tech Park at Hosur in Karnataka and three 100-acre townships near Bangalore. |
| The group has already entered into airline, hospitality and entertainment industries with its divisions, Confident Airlines (India) Ltd, Confident Resorts and Retreats (India) Ltd and Confident Entertainments (India) Ltd. |
| "Our airline division plans to operate charted aircrafts. Our aim is to make modern luxury air traffic system affordable to common man," he said. Roy inaugurated the group's Kochi office. |
