Court reserves order on custody of PW representatives

The sixth additional chief metropolitan magistrate today reserved his order for tomorrow on the police custody of Price Waterhouse (PW) representatives S Gopalakrishnan and Talluri Srinivas.

After hearing the arguments of public prosecutor K Ajay Kumar and defence lawyer Mastan Naidu, the judge posted the verdict for tomorrow.

With this, the bail orders for Gopalakrishnan and T Srinivas, which was posted for today, also stand posted for tomorrow.

The state CID, probing the Satyam fraud, filed a petition seeking five days' police custody of the duo, who were in judicial remand till February 6 in the Satyam fraud case.

Meanwhile, a second bail petition of SRSR general manager Gopala Krishna Raju was filed today, which would also come up for hearing tomorrow.

There were a total of six persons including Satyam former chairman B Ramalinga Raju in judicial remand and they were lodged in Chanchalguda central prison here.
