 "CPCL appoints Venkataramana as MD")
CPCL, subsidiary of Indian Oil Corporation, said that his appointment is consequent to the superannuation of A S Baru, who retired on May 31, 2014.
Venkatramana, an M.Tech and Chemical Engineer, started his career in Hindustan Petroleum Corporation at its Visakh Refinery in 1982 before joining CPCL in 1996.
He assumed charge as Director (operations) in 2010.
