Pune-based DSK, the Indian distributor and manufacturer of the Korean company, has geared up to mark its debut at the biennial event that would feature more than launches and unveilings.
The Hyosung Aquila 250, also known as GV250, will be launched by DSK and will be a comeback of sorts for the model. More than a decade ago the Hyosung had tied up with Pune-based Kinetic Motors and launched the same model and the Comet 250.
Though pricing details will be shared at the time of launch, sources say that the bike could be priced below Rs 3 lakh. The bike will be made in India to keep costs down.
In addition, there will be on display the GD250, a naked-engine, street bike and the RT125D, which is also a performance bike with a relatively smaller engine.
Shirish Kulkarni, Chairman, DSK Motowheels, said, "We are very excited about being a part of the Auto Expo 2014, as this will be our first ever participation at this mega event. We are gearing up to launch the all new, adrenaline pumping cruiser bike, which will be the first of its kind in its segment. Apart from that we will also showcase two of our future bikes that will give a glimpse into the brand’s vision in terms of superior design, engineering and technological advancement.”
