CustomFurnish.com had raised Rs 16 crore for the new showroom in March from investors, including Satish Reddy, Chairman, Dr Reddy's Laboratories, Srini Raju, Founder, Peepul Capital, Srini Koppolu, Founder, Hyderabad Angels and Anil Chalamshetty of Greenko group.
The Hyderabad-based furniture start-up helps customers to design from scratch or modify an existing template to quickly put together a product that fits their space, utility and budget. CustomFurnish.com provides a choice of materials that include plywood, engineered boards, veneers, acrylic and printed surfaces, among others.
Its inaugural offerings include modular kitchens, wardrobes, entertainment units, and other fitted furniture for the home along with sofa sets.
CustomFurnish.com competes with the likes of Pepperfry, Fab Furnish and Urban Ladder in the online furnishing space in India. Online furniture retailing is pegged at Rs 1,246.12 crore in India.
