E-Zone, the lifestyle retail format of Home Solutions Retail (India) Ltd, a Future Group firm, expects to clock a turnover of Rs 18 crore in Orissa during the period of July 2009-June 2010. This is 80 per cent higher than the sales figure of Rs 10 crore which the E-zone store in the state achieved in the July 2008-June 2009 period.
Subrat Samantray, assistant store manger, E-zone said, “During the July 2009-June 2010 period, we expect to achieve sales of Rs 18 crore as against the target of Rs 15 crore give to us. E-Zone accounts for 23 per cent of Pantaloon Retail's total business in the state.”
He said that E-Zone has already recorded sales worth Rs 10 crore from July 2009 till now. Plans are afoot to open an exclusive E-Zone outlet spread across 15,000 sq ft in the city.
