ED freezes FTIL's HDFC Bank current account

The Enforcement Directorate has directed HDFC Bank to freeze a current account of Financial Technologies (renamed as 63 moons technologies) provisionally, the company said in a statement to BSE.

FTIL is taking appropriate steps in consultation with its legal counsel, the statement said.

Informed sources said that the account in question was used by FTIL for Rs 300-crore investment in various mutual fund schemes.
