GE Shipping takes delivery of 'Jag Aanchal'

The Great Eastern Shipping Company took delivery of its new building Long Range One (LR1) Product tanker - Jag Aanchal. The 74,500 dwt double hull LR1 Product Tanker was built at STX Shipbuilding Company Ltd, Korea.

With the induction of “Jag Aanchal”, the company’s fleet of 42 vessels comprises 32 tankers (12 crude carriers, 18 product tankers and 2 LPG carriers) and 10 dry bulk carriers with an average age of 9.9 years aggregating 2.97 mn dwt.

The company’s current new building order  book comprises 12 vessels aggregating 1.02 mn dwt, the company said in a communication to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
