Gitanjali Gems, India’s leading branded jewellery manufacturer and retailer, has inked a pact with Jet Airways to offer added benefits to the airline’s frequent fliers.

Under the arrangement, members of JetPrivilege, the frequent flyer programme from Jet Airways, can earn 2 JPMiles for every Rs 100 spent on jewellery purchases at select Gili outlets across the country. The offer is confined only to Gitanjali’s Gili brand only. Each point would have a direct convergence with money which may facilitate customers into monetary discount for air ticket on Jet Airways.

This tie up is like other such offers in textile or other segments where buyers at Shoppers’ Stop, for example, can redeem the point after accumulating the same over a period of time in next purchase.

“At Gili, we strive to go beyond giving our customers a quality product with a matchless appeal and aim to enhance their all-round shopping experience. The tie-up with Jet is one such initiative and will benefit both brands which have a similar client base,” said Rahul Vira, CEO, Gili India Ltd, a subsidiary of Gitanjali Gems Ltd.

The association is yet another example of Gili’s endeavour to not only offer its consumers attractive and well made products, but also to provide additional benefits that enhance the overall experience of shopping with the brand.

A pioneer in the branded jewellery sector in India, Gili successfully transformed jewellery buying from an occasional indulgence to a much-desired purchase for every occasion. It offers a wide choice of marvelous designs, featuring a blend of Indian and western nuances, to add a modern, trendy elegance to the wearer making it perfectly suited for the changing nature and needs of the modern Indian woman.

“We wish to offer our premium customers special benefits as an acknowledgement to their loyalty to our airline. Tie ups with premium brands like Gili aims to add value to the overall experience of our guests when they participate in India’s most awarded frequent flyer programme, JetPrivilege. The airline will continue to come up with customer delight initiatives, touching aspects influencing our guests’ lifestyles,” said Sudheer Raghavan, Chief Commercial Officer, Jet Airways.
