Greatship and DOF Subsea form joint venture

Greatship (India), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Great Eastern Shipping Company, has entered into a joint venture with DOF Subsea, Norway. The joint venture— Greatship DOF Subsea — will focus on sub-sea project opportunities in the Indian subcontinent.
Ravi Seth, MD Greatship said, “We are very bullish on the prospects of offshore oilfield development off the east coast of India and we expect the JV to be a leading player in the subsea construction domain.”
DOF Subsea’s core business is execution of complex subsea operations down to the depth of 4,000 meters. The company employees more than 800 skilled employees worldwide, 25 offshore vessels, 31 ROVs, 1 AUV/UUV systems and diving spreads.
