Navratna company Hindustan Aeronautics (HAL) today said it has registered sale of Rs 11,415 crore during 2009-10, up 10 per cent from last year.
The order book swelled by over Rs 12,000 crore during the year with new orders for domestic and export projects, a release said.
As per the provisional financial results, the firm's profit before tax stood at Rs 2,617 crore, growth of 12 per cent.
An interim dividend of Rs 300 crore has been declared for the year 2009-10, a release added.
The major achievement of HAL during the year has been taking off of the maiden flight of the prototype of the indigenously-designed Light Combat Helicopter, introduction of a new military variant of the ALH-Mk II.
