The federation has 46 member companies that include Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd, Fortis Healthcare, Manipal Health Enterprises and Max India Ltd. Headquartered in Delhi, it aims to play a pivotal role in empowering Indian healthcare and address quality healthcare.
"Nathealth would act as a catalyst to bridge the skill gap, encourage development and optimise healthcare infrastructure for the progress of the healthcare to the next level," said Prathap C Reddy, president, Nathealth, in a press release.
The body will also work to help shape policy and regulations besides supporting best practices and promote accreditation.
