The Mining Engineering Association of India (MEAI) has felicited Akhilesh Joshi, CEO of Hindustan Zinc Ltd with MEAI-Adheraj Baldota Memorial Gold Medal Award-2012.
MEAI President S K Saragni presented the award to Joshi on June 23 at a function in Hyderabad, Hindustan Zinc said in a release today.
He was lauded for his efforts and hardwork for making HZL the world's largest integrated zinc producing company through systematic exploration, increased production and met highest standards of mine safety, it added.
