The company said this strategic acquisition brings to Hitachi Solutions expanded global delivery capabilities with the addition of more than 450 technical and delivery resources.
In addition, the company gains a portfolio of IP and industry solution, particularly in the retail sector, to enable delivery of global turnkey industry solutions, according to company's release.

Ignify has offices in US, India, Phillippines, Singapore, Thailand and Japan.In India, it has facilities in Bengaluru and Pune and a majority of workforce employed in these centres. The company was founded by Sandeep Walia and Pankaj Kumar in 1999. It offers solutions specialising in Microsoft Dynamics AX, Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Microsoft Dynamics AX for retail point-of-sale operations.
With this acquisition, Ignify will immediately become part of Hitachi Solutions America, Ltd and will be operating under the Business Solutions Group. Walia and Kumar will become senior members of Hitachi Solutions management team, said the company.
The acquisition is expected to help Hitachi Solutions, which at present has a revenue of around $200 million, to clock in a revenue of around $600 million over next three to four years.
Ananth Subramanian, chief executive officer and managing director of Hitachi Solutions India said, "As we integrate our synergies and best practices, we will be well positioned to respond to the growing global delivery needs for Microsoft Dynamics in the region."
Sandeep Walia, chief executive officer and founder of Ignify said, "Our newly integrated company will also provide Ignify customers with global scale, access to worldwide expertise, and a broader pool of resources."
