This year's chosen plays were "Kolkatar Elektra", a play written and directed by Kaushik Sen and presented by theatre group Swapna Sandhani and Blind Opera's "Thaake Shudhu Nachiketa". These plays would be staged for the first time at Odeon 2004. |
| The other two plays that would be showcased in Odeon 2004, were "The Prophet" an English play, based on Kahlil Gibran's short story directed by Naseeruddin Shah and "Erendira", a Hindi play directed by Amal Allana based on Gabriel Garcia Marquez's novel "Erendira and her heartless grandmother". |
