As part of this agreement, ABTL will develop wide range of feed additives in the segments of probiotics, prebiotics, enzymes and anticoccidials. After this, the companies would jointly develop a broad set of veterinary products to treat respiratory diseases like mycoplasma infections and multiple gastro intestinal infections.
Speaking about the agreement, ABTL Managing Director OP Singh said, "The agreement with Huvepharma will bring in advanced quality products to India and also a major investment as India is the fastest growing market in pharma sector". The collaboration will continue to expand in future by joining hands with other major players in similar segment. The infrastructure set up in India through Huvepharma would help it expand and set up new subsidiaries in Bulgaria, Belgium, Italy, Poland, USA, Russia, China, Taiwan and Thailand.
Huvepharma president Kiril Domuschiev claimed, the agreement will open India market gateways for Huvepharma.
"The new venture is committed to take up a leading role as part of the global marketing and manufacturing of human and animal health products of Huvepharma. This venture will also benefit our plans to expand our capabilities in order to attract new customers and partners," Domuschiev stated.
