Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), today said that it was considering moving court seeking its permission to interrogate the scam-hit Satyam Computers promoters.
This was said by ICAI's President Uttam Prakash Agarwal at a press conference here.
ICAI would also seek court permission to interrogate Satyam's erstwhile chief financial officer, Agarwal said.
B Ramalinga Raju is the main promoter while Srinivas Vadlamani is the erstwhile CFO of Satyam.
ICAI is a body that regulates the chartered accountants profession in the country.
