IL&FS Engineering today said it has received a Rs 168 crore contract for construction of a port facility in Maharashtra.
"IL&FS Engineering & Construction Company has received a letter of award from IL&FS Maritime Infrastructure Company on behalf of Dighi Port for a total value of Rs 168 crore for a multipurpose berth, backup Yard development and utilities of multipurpose terminal on North side of Dighi port, Agardanda in Maharashtra," the company said in a statement.
The project on engineering, procurement and construction basis is likely to be completed in 545 days.
The scope of work includes design and construction of multipurpose berth and development of backup area of 50 acres and paving of 16 hectares besides construction of utilities.
