Indiabulls Financial Services today said its consolidated net profit for the third quarter ended December 31, 2008, declined by 58 per cent at Rs 68.06 crore as against Rs 161.96 crore over the corresponding period a year ago.
However, consolidated total revenues for the firm were up 26.2 per cent to Rs 546.1 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 432.7 crore.
Total income rose to Rs 433.61 crore against Rs 202.44 crore in the quarter against last fiscal.
While, for the nine-month period ended December 31, 2008, Indiabulls registered a consolidated net profit of Rs 348.46 crore, a 9.6 per cent growth over the corresponding period a year ago.
On a standalone basis, Indiabulls Financial Services posted a net profit of Rs 36.29 crore in the third quarter of current fiscal, a 65.48 per cent growth as compared to Rs 105.14 crore a year ago.
