Info Edge (India), promoter of websites such as Naukri.com and Jeevansathi.com, reported a net profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 17.21 crore for the third quarter ended 31 December 2008, 31.4 per cent up year-on-year from Rs 13.09 crore registered in the corresponding quarter last year.
Total income at Rs 70.17 crore, was up 16.7 per cent, from Rs 60.09 crore posted in the quarter ended 31 December 2007.
Sequentially (on a quarter-on-quarter basis), PAT was up 9.8 per cent while the total income was down 3 per cent.
