 "Infosys signs 4-year contract with Toyota Motor Europe")
India's second largest information technology (IT) firm, Infosys, today said it has signed a four-year contract with Toyota Motor Europe to provide managed services application management.
"The engagement will see Infosys deploy a managed services model, covering applications across a variety of Toyota's operation areas in Europe, including core automotive processes and corporate functions," Infosys said in a release.
Under the contract, Infosys will provide support for over 150 application for Toyota Motors across Europe. These applications are spread across automotive processes such as supply chain, manufacturing, sales, after sales and customer service, and corporate functions including human resource and finance.
Infosys has been working with Toyota Motors Europe for various initiatives, such as the company's pan-Europe IT landscape transformation.
“Moving to a managed services model for our application support will help us track and improve service levels across portfolio,” Pierre Masai, chief information officer, Toyota Motors Europe said.
