Hyderabad based Pioneer group will launch IT magazine, Cyber Yug, in different regional languages to train IT starters in villages.

The company has launched its first regional language IT magazine in Bengali on Tuesday. The chief operating officer of POL Publisher, a group company of Pioneer, informed that it would launch the magazine in Hindi and Telegu soon.

Besides, it is launching the magazine in Bangladesh to capitalise on the huge Bengali speaking population there.

As most existing IT magazines were in English, the Bengali one would meet demand of IT professionals who did not have complete command over English.

Cyber Yug was optimistic that the magazine would get good response among Bengali medium school students, small and medium enterprises, traders and farmers.

"The underlying philosophy is that this cyber age and these days you have to be computer friendly, whatever profession you are in," said sources.

The Pioneer group would also launch a MBA (BPO) course alongwith the Bengali IT magazine in the state.

The Pioneer group was offering the course in association with the Sikkim Manipal university.

"This course is getting good response in West Bengal. Out of 100 enrolled for the course in the country, more than half is from the state," said sources.

The group is marketing MBA (BPO) program through its direct selling arm called E- bizz. At present there are 1.5 lakh associates in the E-bizz network, which would sell the IT magazine too.
