In a top management reshuffle in the Wadia group firms, textile firm Bombay Dyeing today said it has appointed Jeh Wadia as the managing director of the firm with effect from April 1.
Besides, Ness Wadia would step down from the post of joint managing director on March 31 and will become an additional director from April 1, the company said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Ness will now become a joint managing director of Bombay Burmah Trading Corporation, a part of the group, with effect from April 1, 2011.
When contacted, Ness Wadia said the reshuffle is a part of a "routine rotation within the group companies".
Ashok Panjwani will also continue to be a joint managing director in the corporation.
Durgesh Mehta will continue to be joint managing director in Bombay Dyeing.
