Sajjan Jindal-promoted JSW Group has cancelled over Rs 100 crore worth of construction works given to fraud-hit Satyam’s infrastructure arm Maytas Infra. "We have cancelled the contracts given to Maytas in the wake of recent developments.
We will soon identify a new contractor for the projects," said a JSW Energy official. JSW Steel Vice-Chairman and Managing Director Sajjan Jindal had earlier indicated the company would review the contracts awarded to Maytas in the wake of recent developments involving Satyam and Maytas.
