Jubilant FoodWorks today said its standalone net profit had risen by 39.63% to Rs 32.34 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2012 over the same period previous fiscal.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 23.16 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2011 Jubilant FoodWorks said in a BSE filing.
Total income from the operations rose to Rs 314.50 crore for the quarter under consideration as against Rs 216.91 crore for the same period year ago.
Earlier in May this year leading baked food and coffee chain of US, Dunkin' Donuts chose Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd (JFL), which runs restaurant chain Dominos Pizza in India, as its master franchisee.
The company is also the master franchisee of Dominos international in India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
Shares of Jubilant FoodWorks were today trading at Rs 1,193.40 in the late afternoon trade on BSE, down 1.37% from the previous close.
