Its fourth quarter revenues were higher by 60 per cent at Rs1031 crore, versus last year corresponding period revenues of Rs643.70 crore.
KEC`s net profit for the year 2007-08 stood at Rs 172.16 crore, with an increase of 65 per cent from Rs 104.64 crore in last year period. The company reported 38 per cent growth in net sales for the year 2007-08 at Rs2814 crore, against Rs2040.63 crore in 2006-07.
"This year, consolidation has occurred along with significant growth. RPG Group companies National Information Technologies and RPG Transmission have successfully been merged into KEC in record time and with great success.Top line and profits have grown through the year and we expect to continue on a sustained growth path to become a billion dollar company," said Ramesh Chandak, managing director and CEO, KEC International.
The company currently has an order book of Rs 4200 crore, as against Rs3000 crore in the last year, he said.
KEC has also announced 50 per cent dividend.
