Indian automotive and engineering components manufacturer Kineco today said it is in advanced stages of talks with France's Zodaic Aerospace for supplying parts used in aerospace and defence sector.

The Goa-based firm said it has signed a non-disclosure agreement with Zodaic Aerospace, which is a Tier-I supplier of key components to aerospace giants Boeing and Airbus.

"We have already signed a non disclosure agreement for sharing designs and drawings with them. Soon, we may get orders for supplying components," Kineco Head (Business Development) Kapil Borkar told PTI on the sidelines of the JEC Composites Show here.

He said Zodaic Aerospace technical officers have visited Kineco's facility last month in relation to the possibility of supplies.

Kineco supplies materials to companies such as Tata Motors, Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd in India and TVS Irizar -- covering defence, aerospace, railways and automobiles sectors.

Besides, Kineco is also in talks with France's Thales Group, which is into information systems and services for the aerospace, defence, and security markets.

"We are in talks with them for supplying components. As of now, the talks are at initial stage," Borkar mentioned.

Kineco and other six Indian SMEs are exhibiting their novelties here at the JEC Composites show, an international show for composites industry in the world, which started here today.
