| He said Lotus Bawa would soon be allotted a plot in Tahliwal as the company had already been given permission to set up its footwear unit by the state industries department. |

| The state government has so far developed 171 industrial plots at Tahliwal and 66 units are already in operation here. |

| "The state government has acquired 38,400 square metres of land to be developed at Tahliwal," officials said. |
