M & M Plans Capacity Expansion At Nashik Plant

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) is planning to increase the production capacity at its Nashik automotive plant in Maharashtra to 1.05 lakh units from around 70,000 units, primarily as a preparatory move to a possible high demand from the to-be-launched vehicles on the Scorpio platform.

The company is also planning to set up a new paint shop at Nashik with an annual capacity of 80,000 vehicles.
