Maharashtra Seamless Ltd, the flagship of the Rs 1400 crore D P Jindal group, has reported a 6.25 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 17 crore for October-December 2004-05 against Rs 16 crore in the same quarter of the previous year.
 
Top line for the quarter increased to Rs 241 crore against Rs 145 crore for the corresponding period of the previous year, a growth of 66 per cent.
 
For the nine months ended December 31, 2004, the company's turnover was Rs 622 crore compared with Rs 389 crore previously.
