Makham Dhalivaal is Volkswagen`s new India chief

Volkswagen India President and MD Joerg Mueller said, "I am confident that Dhalivaal, with his rich professional experience, will take the Volkswagen brand in its endeavour to further consolidate its presence and outreach in the Indian automobile market."

Dhalivaal has more than 25 years of experience in the automotive industry. Before joining Bentley Motors in 2000, he served as regional director and head of the national sales team for Volvo Cars, where he was responsible for the UK-sales performance.

In the early 1990s, he also had a stint in as MD and general manager of a Volvo dealership. During his tenure with Bentley Motors, he held several directorship positions, including head of the UK operations. BS Reporter
