MBL Infrastructures Limited has been awarded the project for development and operation of the Bikaner-Suratgarh section of NH-15 in the State of Rajasthan by PWD, Rajasthan.
The company said in a filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange that the project will be executed on design, build, finance, operate and transfer basis with a concession period of 16 years including construction period of 24 months.
The project is for two-laning of the highway, with paved shoulder. It has been awarded to the consortium led by MBL Infrastructures, Srei Infrastructure being the other partner. The total cost of the project is estimated to be above Rs 500 crore.
MBL Infra is currently executing 21 projects worth Rs 2,635 crore.
Shares of the company were trading Rs 127.45, up 6.61% in the afternoon today.
