Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad (MICA), will organise its annual theatre festival "" Sankalp from September 1 at the Natrani Theatre. | |
| The festival is set to begin with the launch of a Sankalp website followed by a panel discussion chaired by eminent theatre personalities and moderated by the institute director Atul Tandon. |

| The event will conclude with a modern comic play by Ed Monk renowned for this genre of plays. |

| The institute plans to perform three street plays each based on a respective theme of social relevance in villages around Ahmedabad, alongside a design contest being conducted across prominent colleges of the city. |

| During October, students from across the country will be invited to participate in a theatre competition held during MICANVAS, the annual festival of MICA. |
| |
| Following this, a theatre workshop is proposed to be held in November, where a noted theatre director is expected to participate. |
