Mu Sigma strengthens leadership team

Hires top Dell executive Ganesh Lakshminarayanan as MD of India Operations

Mu Sigma, a provider of analytics and decision support services has hired Ganesh Lakshminarayanan as the company's Managing Director for India Operations. Lakshminarayanan, an industry veteran with over 25 years of experience in the field of technology, was till recently heading the Asia Pacific and Japan Sales operations at Dell. He was also credited with starting Dell's India operations.

In his new role, Lakshminarayanan would report into Dhiraj Rajaram, Mu Sigma's Founder and CEO, and would work closely with the current leadership team at Mu Sigma to enhance the India delivery function, the Bangalore-based company said in a release. "We must keep pace with the speed and scale of shift in the Big Data Space. I am sure Ganesh's rich experience in scaling operations will significantly help Mu Sigma in its journey of growth," Rajaram said in a statement.

Mu Sigma has also announced that former Forrester Research executive Tom Pohlmann has joined the company as head of values and strategy. "These senior hires are key to helping Mu Sigma continue on its path of fast growth," he added.
