Nelco appoints P J Nath as Executive Director and CEO

For the quarter ended March 2012, Nelco's revenues stood at Rs 48.26 crore, while net profit stood at Rs 0.62 crore

Nelco, a Tata Group company, today said it has designated P J Nath as its Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect.

"The Board has appointed P J Nath as Director and designated as Executive Director and CEO with effect from June 13, 2012," Nelco said in a filing to the BSE.

It added that upon reaching the age of superannuation on June 12, 2012, K A Mahashur has ceased to be a Director and Executive Director of the company.

Nath had joined Nelco in February 2011 as CEO and has over 25 years experience in the enterprise market.

Prior to Nelco, he has served as Executive President (Enterprise Business) at Sify Technologies. He has also worked with companies like Wipro, Tata Communications (VSNL) and ICIM.

Started in 1940, Nelco provides its enterprise and government customers with integrated security and surveillance, VSAT connectivity (Tatanet VSAT), managed services, satcom projects and meteorological solutions.

It offers services like consulting, customisation, system integration, end-to-end management as well as infrastructure and processes.

For the quarter ended March 2012, Nelco's revenues stood at Rs 48.26 crore, while net profit stood at Rs 0.62 crore.
