"Currently, India's contribution to our global turnover is 2.5% and we plan to increase it to 5% in the coming 3 years," said Sajjan Kumar, Vice-President Imaging, Nikon India.
Nikon India is market leader in India with around 55% market share in D-SLR category and 43% in the compact category and the company is upbeat about demand in the coming days, added Kumar.

The company also plans to increase the number of outlets and D-SLR and COOLPIX zones in India.
Currently, the company has around 4000 authorised outlets in India and 120 D-SLR and COOLPIX zones.
The company plans to open more than 10 D-SLR and COOLPIX zones in the the coming two years.
